Prednisone Taper Tracker — Prescribed Schedule & Dose Log
Steroid Taper Schedule & Dose Log
Records the taper your doctor prescribed. It does not calculate or recommend doses.
Important
Steroid Tracker records the schedule entered from a prescription. It does not calculate, recommend or check a treatment, never changes the plan after a missed dose, is not a medical device and is not for emergencies. Questions about a dose, a missed dose or a treatment should go to a doctor or pharmacist.
About Steroid Tracker
Prednisone Taper Tracker, which appears as Steroid Tracker on your phone, helps people follow a corticosteroid taper that a doctor has already prescribed — prednisone, prednisolone, methylprednisolone, dexamethasone, hydrocortisone or another corticosteroid. The prescribed steps are entered exactly as written: dose, unit, how long, which days and at what time. Each day the app shows the dose recorded for today and its time, whether it was logged as taken or not taken, and when the recorded dose changes next. The full plan, a history calendar and a weekly summary keep the whole taper in view. Real schedules are supported: several doses a day, every other day, alternating doses, repeating cycles of 2 to 28 days, chosen weekdays and steps with no dose. When a prescription changes, the plan is updated from today or from a future date and earlier records are kept. There is no account: records stay on the phone, and ads are non-personalized and never use health information.

Frequently asked questions
What is Steroid Tracker?
Steroid Tracker is a mobile app for following a corticosteroid taper that a doctor has already prescribed. The prescribed steps are entered once — dose, unit, duration, days and time — and the app shows the dose recorded for each day, lets it be logged as taken or not taken, and shows when the recorded dose changes next.
Does Steroid Tracker calculate or recommend doses?
No. Steroid Tracker only records the schedule entered from a prescription and shows it day by day. It does not calculate, recommend, adjust or check doses, never changes the plan after a missed dose and is not a medical device. Questions about a dose or a missed dose should go to a doctor or pharmacist.
Which corticosteroids and schedules does it support?
Any prescribed corticosteroid taper can be entered, including prednisone, prednisolone, methylprednisolone, dexamethasone and hydrocortisone. Each step supports several doses per day, every other day, alternating amounts, repeating cycles of 2 to 28 days, chosen weekdays and steps with no dose. Days without a dose are never counted as missed.
Where is the data stored?
Only on the phone. Steroid Tracker has no account and no server that receives health information. Records are kept in app-private storage that is excluded from iCloud and Google backups and from device transfers, so SRG Consulting cannot see or recover them. They can be deleted at any time from Settings.
Is Steroid Tracker free, and on which platforms?
Steroid Tracker is in development for iPhone and Android, and every tracking feature is free. The free version shows non-personalized ads that never use health information. A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes them, and there are no subscriptions.
